I am applying for the Summer Program Instructional Intern position at Lakeside Summer Learning Academy. The mix of literacy intervention, outdoor science blocks, and family newsletters matches the wraparound support I am training to deliver.

I am pursuing elementary licensure and have classroom observation hours plus small-group tutoring experience.

This spring I led a six-student reading circle focused on fluency and comprehension, moving the group's median oral reading score up one grade band in ten weeks. I also co-designed a "math in the park" scavenger hunt that teachers adopted for a school-wide field day.

I am comfortable with lesson pacing, behavior cues that preserve dignity, and quick pivots when a lab spills or a thunderstorm moves class indoors.

I communicate with families in warm, specific language—what we practiced, what improved, and what to try at home.

I collaborate with paraprofessionals and specialists because student wins are shared wins.
